Issue 141

We are building features for the Women Who Code community and we want to highlight that work with our stakeholders, you! THANK YOU to our contributors for dedicating their valuable time to help us build tech a place where women can excel.

You can follow all of our work on github. Below are a few snippets of our awesome features.

Released

Add RSS Feed Section with Tweets and Social Icons to Network Profiles
We added helpers, styles, svgs, and tests for the Network Highlights RSS Feed section. This means that when you visit a Network page for a Network that has a Twitter URL, you will see the last three Tweets from them, including replies. When a Network with no Twitter URL is visited you will see the last three Tweets from the WWCode Global Twitter account.

Fix Network hero image IE 800×600 display bug
Add height and width to background svg shades_of_teal_smaller.svg. Re-alphabetize hero.scss. This fixed the hero image on Network pages when displayed in 800 X 600 resolution.

Update No Events Text and Add Feature Test
On Network pages for Networks with no upcoming events, the following text is now displayed: "It looks like we don't have any events…yet. Get involved today!" including a link to the respective Networks Get Involved page.
