Grow Progress is hiring a junior-level software engineer to be part of a team that is building cutting-edge persuasion technology for social good. We’re looking for engineers who want to help pioneer a new approach to persuasion: giving our customers the power to persuade more people based on how they think — not just how they look.

What you'll do at Grow Progress
  • Working with teammates to build, test and iterate on new product features.
  • Participating in technical planning meetings.
  • Having your code reviewed by teammates and reviewing their code.
  • Providing and receiving feedback through weekly 1:1s with your manager or through the engineering team meeting.
  • Iterating on our client-facing applications which are built in Laravel (PHP), VueJs, Bootstrap 4, and MySql.

Our Hiring Process
  • Step 1: Skills Assessment - take a timed 1.5 hour front end coding challenge.
  • Step 2: Eng. Team Tech. Interview (<1 hr) - You'll be provided a prompt and asked to white board diagram a solution.
  • Step 3: Code Review Assignment - You'll be provided code and asked to perform a code review.
  • Step 4: Hiring Manager Behavioral Int. (<1 hr) - You'll be asked behavioral questions and have an opportunity to ask q's also.
  • Step 5: Final Interview - a short interview with the CEO after which an offer may be made.
