Grow Progress is hiring an associate software engineer to build cutting-edge persuasion technology for social good. We’re looking for engineers and developers who want to begin their career in software engineering and be part of a team that’s pioneering a new approach to persuasion: persuading based on how people think, not just how they look.

What you'll do at Grow Progress
  • Participate in sprint retrospectives, backlog grooming, and sprint planning meetings
  • Pick up task tickets and write code to complete the task
  • Submit your code as pull requests to the team, have teammates review your work and review other submitted Requests
  • Participate in team trainings or conduct one on something you’ve learned
  • Seek mentorship from teammates and learn new technologies and skills

Our Hiring Process
  • Step 1: Skills Assessment - take a timed 1.5 hour coding challenge.
  • Step 2: Eng. Team Tech. Interview (1 hr) - You'll be provided a prompt and asked to white board diagram a solution.
  • Step 3: Code Review Assignment (<1 hr) - You'll be provided code and asked to perform a code review.
  • Step 4: Hiring Manager Behavioral Int. (<1 hr) - You'll be asked a set of ~10 questions and have an opportunity to ask q's also.
  • Step 5: Final Interview - a short interview with the CEO after which an offer may be made.
