Job Description

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for taking on a leadership role in financial decision-making and processes that affects our company, and will provide strategic financial input to senior leadership. The successful CFO will play a key role in developing and implementing financial procedures to maintain and improve the financial health of WWCode.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide the company’s financial strategy

  • Improve financial controls and accounting procedures

  • Build transparency over the company’s financial performance

  • Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner

  • Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained

  • Support the CEO in improving monthly and annual financial plans

  • Monthly financials review and executive reporting


  • 5+ years leading in accounting and finance principles
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Knowledge of tech industry culture
  • Knowledge of and passion for diversity and inclusion best practices
  • Time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask  
  • Problem-solving and decision making skills
  • Passion for inspiring women to excel in technology careers
  • Willingness to travel when appropriate

Nice To Have

  • Experience in non-profit program, community management, or similar field
