Job Description

The CDO leads revenue growth and expansion, ensuring stability over long-term change and development. The CDO is also responsible for overseeing the development and support of partner and donor relationships that promote retention, new business, and loyalty; as well as ensuring the partner commitments are successfully fulfilled.

Key Responsibilities

  • Nurture a comprehensive corporate network of potential funders through existing relationships, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship

  • Use strong listening skills to learn from the culture and expertise of WWCode team, community, and values

  • Develop and execute successful multi-year growth plans by setting strategies and goals with the executive team and development committee 

  • Engage in cultivating, soliciting, and securing large corporate gifts / partnerships

  • Participate in the success of development committee 

  • Lead others to action by planning, motivating, organizing, and providing support and oversight on the work being done

  • Train and nurture your incredible team 

  • Establish success clear metrics and evaluate team performance

  • Build collaboration, thinking ahead to how your teams work intersects with other teams and create clarity of roles and processes

  • Encourage and value ideas from different stakeholders but distill them to keep focus on a strategic approach

  • Mold an appropriately cohesive approach between major revenue channels and build a culture of philanthropy: corporate partnerships, corporate giving, product sales, donations, and grants

  • Using strong critical thinking skills to monitor strategies and processes and adjust accordingly to build sustainable growth

  • Expand cohesive approach between major revenue channels as appropriate: corporate partnerships, corporate giving, product sales, donations, and grants

  • Evaluate revenue management processes - pipeline, account planning, proposals, and renewals 

  • Conducts market research to develop successful pricing, product, and package offerings

  • Develop effective marketing collateral to achieve our development goals

  • Bring experience in cross-channel marketing and a strong understanding of native advertising

  • Other responsibilities, as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 5-10 years of experience in growing revenue and product market avenues

  • 2-3 years of corporate partnership experience 

  • Track record in delivering rapid revenue growth 

  • Proven leadership experience across multiple divisions

  • Successful experience with B2B sales and securing corporate partnerships

  • Experience with Salesforce as a CRM

  • Knowledge and understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion and how this strengthens companies

  • Ability to quickly evaluate business needs and build meaningful relationships with partners

  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and developing processes from there 

  • Strong financial analytical, modeling, and writing skills

  • Ability to represent the organization well in tech and professional settings

  • Willingness to travel when appropriate
