Released
This week we focused on some key features to make our Network pages even better and made a small fix to the job board.
Changed
Add Default Social URLs to Networks
This makes it so that when a Network is created, if no local social media portals exist for that Network, the page will default to showing the Global WWCode Social URL's.
Functionality
• Create a new network with a and leave all network social links (facebook, meetup, instgram, twitter) blank and click save
• Go to the front end view for the network and confirm all links are as the default links
• Facebook url: https://www.facebook.com/womenwhocode
• Twitter url: https://twitter.com/womenwhocode
• Instagram url: https://www.instagram.com/womenwhocode/
• Meetup url: https://www.meetup.com/topics/wwc/
Restrict Network Leaders from Editing Their Network
This adds some restrictions to how Network leaders can change and edit their Network pages.
Functionality
• Log in as a Leader and go to /admin/networks
• You can see the Network(s) that you lead
• You do not see Edit or Delete actions for the Network(s)
• You do see a View button for Network(s)
• Click a Network's View button
• You do not see Edit or Delete buttons on the show page
• You are able to create/update/delete NetworkEvents for your Network(s)
Fixed
Remove Min Company Logo Size and Change Social Card Logo Display
We removed the required file dimensions for company logo size and changed Twitter card from summary with large image to summary (shows small square image) for job posts.
