Issue 93
We are building features for the Women Who Code community and we want to highlight that work with our stakeholders, you! THANK YOU to our contributors for dedicating their valuable time to help us build tech a place where women can excel.
You can follow all of our work on github. Below are a few snippets of our awesome features.
Released
Website
This week's sprint has seen a lot of great updates to our product!
Job Board
We fixed a stripe charge card error, adding a custom message for Stripe card declined errors, and updated puchases_controller to account for cases where a card is attached to a customer but the charge fails. We also updated copy on the companies page.
Profiles
Added location options to member profiles including an updated profile controller to accept logitude and latitude and an autocomplete function that helps people fill out the location field using Google geocoding. We also gave Admins the ability to edit those fields.
Fixes
Added a contingency so that when customers enter an incorrect email address they will be prompted with suggestions to help them correct possible errors.
Removed asset logs from all environments, allowing them to instead be toggled with a config variable which is now used in all environments.
Our Website
Our repo is private, yet running under an open source license. Instead of pointing to issues and PRs, we are including a screenshot of what our weekly pulse looks like.
