WW<CODE> Maker Bytes
Written by WWCode Core Team
Issue 21
We are building pretty amazing features and we want to highlight that work with our stakeholders, you! THANK YOU to our contributors for dedicating some of their free time to making tech a place where women can excel.
You can follow all of our work on github. Below are a few snippets of our awesome features.
This Week
The Women Who Code Job Board Alpha is live! This is the first stage of this exciting new feature. The Job Board is for companies to post jobs right now and in early July members will be able to see the job postings.
Our Website
Our repo is private, yet running under an open source license. Instead of pointing to issues and PRs, we are going to include a screenshot of what our weekly pulse looks like.
Existing website contributors, please check out our pulse!
Potential website contributors, please email core-team@womenwhocode.com with your github username to get started. It's built in Ruby on Rails.
Released
This week's sprint focused completely on the Job Board. Let's congratulate the teams hard work in getting the Job Board Alpha live. Well done!
In The Works
WWCode job board!
We are actively planning the phased roll out of many additional features for the Job Board now that Alpha is live. Watch this space.
Applauds!
Our Android App (currently a Prototype)
We will be holding off on prioritizing the Android app right now while we reprioritize our focus over the next few months during our time at YC. This means we will from now on remove the Android app section on Maker Bytes.
