Sridevi Ravuri Named as Women Who Code’s Newest Advisor

VMware Vice President Joins as Advisor of World’s Largest Women in Technology Organization
ATLANTA – JUNE 1ST, 2020 — Women Who Code (WWCode), a global community dedicated to inspiring women to excel in technology careers, is proud to announce that Sridevi Ravuri, Vice President, R&D, at VMware, joined as their newest Advisor. In this role, Sridevi will work with the other distinguished Advisors to support and promote the organization's efforts to see women proportionally represented as technical leaders, executives, founders, VCs, board members, and software engineers across industries.
Sridevi Ravuri is Vice President, R&D, at VMware and is currently the head of engineering for vSphere ESXi. In this role, she leads the engineering team that builds the core hypervisor platform in VMware. Prior to this role, she led the VMC on Dell EMC initiative as VP and GM. This initiative brings together VMware’s strengths in virtual infrastructure (vSphere, vSAN, VMware Cloud) and Networking (VeloCloud SD-WAN, NSX) to deliver a cloud-operated infrastructure to their customers. In her position as a Women Who Code Advisor, she will support the organization's mission to inspire women to succeed in tech by sharing her experience, insights, and expertise.

Women Who Code has a global membership of 200,000 with Networks located in 70 cities and 20 countries, and they host more than 2,000 events each year.
