Local Leaders of WWcode Seattle and Austin Networks Transition to Become Advisors to the World’s Largest Women in Tech Nonprofit SAN FRANCISCO - April 6th, 2018 — Women Who Code (WWCode), the 137,000 member women in tech nonprofit, announces the newest Advisors: Sandra Persing, Global Program Manager at Mozilla, and Sara Inés Calderon, Lead React Native Developer at musx. These are the first WWCode Advisors that have also acted as Directors of local WWCode Networks and have participated in the organization’s Global Leadership Program.As Director of Women Who Code Seattle, Sandra helped grow the local community from 300 to over 3,000 members, while producing two consecutive WWCode CONNECT global technology conferences. In her role as Director of WWCode Austin, Sara Inés helped to organize and produce the Network’s technical programming, while also spreading the word about their events and offerings in an Evangelist role.Women Who Code Global Leadership Director, Joey Rosenberg said, “We’re thrilled that Sara and Sandra are bringing their expertise and enthusiasm to the WWCode Advisory Council.
